Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], July 11 (ANI): Hailing the Rajasthan budget 2024-25 which was presented in the state assembly yesterday, state Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa on Thursday said that the budget encompasses the vision of development.
The Rajasthan budget was presented in the assembly by Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Diya Kumari.
Speaking to ANI, Bairwa said, “This is a budget for development and it has been presented with a vision. The vision of developing Rajasthan has been given by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.”
He further thanked the CM and congratulated the people of Rajasthan.
“We want to thank him and congratulate him and also congratulate the people of Rajasthan. It touches every section, every region…” he said.
Earlier today, Rajasthan CM Sharma asserted that the budget has been prepared while keeping in mind the Prime Minister’s vision of Viksit Bharat.
Addressing media persons, Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma said, “We had promised that 4 lakh govt jobs will be provided to youths and we have included that in our state budget…in one year, we will give government jobs to one lakh youths. We have presented this budget while keeping in mind the Prime Minister’s vision of Vikshit Bharat. The participation of youths will increase as we will open colleges for sports and organize ‘Khelo Rajasthan’ on the district level. Our government will work for the 2036 Olympics so that talented youths from our villages get the opportunity to come forward.”
Apart from the Chief Minister, various other leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party have also reacted to the budget and said it will boost the state’s development aspirations.
After presenting Rajasthan’s Budget 2024-25, Rajasthan Deputy CM and Finance Minister Diya Kumari said, “We have thought about everyone, every section, and given something for everyone in this budget, whether it is about youths, women, farmers, sports, infrastructure. This time we have prepared this budget by looking at every section and I think that this time we have increased the infrastructure, and capital expenditure. This time we have increased the budget for infrastructure by 1.5 times to accelerate the vision of Vikshit Rajasthan (developed Rajasthan), to fulfil PM Modi’s vision and goal of making India develop by 20247. I feel this budget will work as a foundation stone for this vision.”
The estimated revenue of the state for the financial year 2024-25 is Rs 2.64 lakh crores while the estimated expenditure is Rs 2.90 lakh crores.
The Rajasthan Government has developed an action plan under Amrit Kalkhand with a motive to make Rajasthan developed by 2047.
The key highlights of the budget revolve around making the state a 350-billion-dollar economy, development of basic amenities like water, electricity, roads, human resource development and planned development of rural and urban areas with sustainable development, empowerment of farmer families with respect, development of MSMEs as well along with big industries, heritage conservation with the idea of heritage development, Green Rajasthan, health for all, providing social security to deprived families and establishing good governance with perform, reform and transform.
